LEFT BEHIND ! !

"One by one, the strongholds fell 

Now the last soldier has fled

The final flight has taken off

The airport is closed

The  bases are empty

The heavy guns silent

The enemy has overrun the bulwarks 

His flag now flies everywhere ....

WOE, WOE, WOE!

"We now languish. 

Unable to escape. 

Heartbroken

We couldn't even hang onto the planes as they took off into the clouds

Now we anxiously hope to adapt and survive

Even if we have to bow before the new dictator.....

WOE, WOE, WOE!

"We put our trust in our leaders

We put our faith in our swords

We placed our confidence in the chariots of powerful allies

For years we enjoyed our peace and well-being

Our newfound social and economic freedoms,

Unfettered by oppressive religious  fanatics

Little realizing that a bigger enemy was lurking amongst us

Watching

Trackng

Waiting

Building his empire slowly but surely....

WOE, WOE, WOE!

"We dismissed as pessimists and wackos, those who said this will not last

We mocked the prophets warning of coming end as conspiracy theorists

We shut our eyes to the signs of impending danger

And muffled our ears to the  trumpet

Our understanding overwhelmed by the pleasures of a better life now.....

WOE, WOE, WOE!

"But calamity has come

Like a thief in the night

No one to turn to now

All alone 

Abandoned

Hopeless

Left behind

At the mercy of the very beast whom we thought we defeated long ago

With no place to hide

And no weapon for defense.....

WOE, WOE, WOE!"

Just a small preview of imminent global disasters of apocalyptic proportions, from which many will not find escape. 

But those who choose to put their trust in the only true Saviour and have believed the warnings of His prophets, will be snatched away to eternal safety.

Let him who has eyes  read, see and believe. Or be doomed to be left behind.
